These beautiful clean-lined containers are surprisingly lighter than they appear. They are sturdy. lightweight and crafted to look naturally realistic. Even to the hand, the illusion remains strong. These planters are an outstanding candidate for all-natural settings where they can easily be moved for lawn and landscape maintenance.

Ahhhh! Lite!....Fiberglass combined with other composite materials make a lightweight and formidable planter. All finishes are hand applied on top of the fiber-resin combination so each pieces has it't own unique patina. Colors will change over time due to UV rays and general weathering of the patina.

Care of Alfresco Lite Collection:
Due to this material's inability to expand and contract, it is strongly recommended that these planters be removed from the elements of temperatures below 40 degrees F and/or where there is a great deal of freezing and thawing occurring. Covered porches, sheds, garages or basements are great storage areas during winter months.

If moving these planters under cover or indoors is not possible then the following care guidlines are strongly advised:
 

• The planter should be raised off of the ground with some type of riser (e.g. wood strips) so air can pass underneath.
• Keeping the product raised off the ground keeps the planter from freezing to the ground.
• Be sure that the planter has a drainage hole. Do not block the drain hole.
• Wrap the planter in burlap or a blanket first and then black plastic to keep moisture out of the planter itself. It should be noted that these actions increase the chance of Terra Cotta, Glazed, or Fiberglass planters successfully surviving winter conditions. However, these actions do not guarantee that planters left outside will make it safely through the winter. There are no planter warranties for any damage due to weather conditions.

  Cushion Maintenance
• Vacuum regularly to remove organic debris that causes mildew to form.
• Cushions can be cleaned with cold water and mild soap or detergent. Always allow fabric to air dry. When not in use store cushions out of the elements, for ultimate longevity.
