The Giardino collection is made of loom woven wicker which we recommend for partially exposed use (like a verandah). It offers the following features.
Wicker
Woven on the original type loom produced by Marshall Lloyd in 1917
Advanced technology eliminates burrs, cracking and peeling wicker
Strands reinforced every 3/4" with aluminum or stainless steel cores for added strength and resilience
Loom wicker strands are spun tighter for a more elegant look, smoother feel, better finish, and longer-lasting wicker
After the weaving process, the wicker is dipped in a resin emulsion to form a flexible coating for moisture resistance
Open weave of the wicker prevents the wicker from retaining heat, even after long hours in the sun
Loom wicker has a natural "give" for total body comfort
Frames
Constructed of sturdy, maintenance-free, non-corrosive aluminum
Unique welded construction seat frames and side frames are welded together rather than screwing seat frames to side frames
Processed in a five-stage pre-treatment process in preparation for finishing
Visible welds are ground and polished
Limited mechanical fasteners (screws, etc) which could otherwise fall our after years of use. Where screws are used, a double wall of aluminum is used to eliminate loosening
Tables are extensively braced under the tops to eliminate sagging wicker tops
All edges are expertly hand-woven or covered with braid
Seat Contruction
Ultraflex webbing is used in all seats for comfort and longevity. Whereas other wicker is splitting across the front rail after years of use, Ultraflex will eliminate this possibility
Cushions
Available in a large selection of indoor and outdoor fabrics
Flame-retardant cushion filling meets California Spec 117
Filling for outdoor cushion fabrics is 100% engineered polyester fiber, is water-resistant and has excellent drainage and resiliency over two ounces per board foot
Cushions are reversible (one side for the children and one side for company)
Cushions have a very firm density
Wicker Maintenance
Vacuum with a brush attachment to remove organic debris and dust
Clean product using a soft sponge, mild soap and water, rinse clean then dry
Apply light coats of touch-up paint to any worn areas, and give the entire piece a light coat of a cream-type car polish that will not dry to a haze.
Cushion Maintenance
Vacuum regularly to remove organic debris that causes mildew to form
Acrylic cushions can be washed in cold water with mild detergent in an oversized washing machine. Apply a new coat of Scotchgard or Teflon after the cushions are dry if desired.
Cotton cushions must be dry-cleaned only
Warranty
Loom woven wicker is covered by a 3-year warranty. The warranty covers all defects in workmanship or materials of the product. Any instance of abnormal or abusive use of the furniture will not be covered by this warranty.
A separate warranty applies to fabrics. There is a 3-year warranty on color fastness from the fabric supplier on acrylic jacquards, acrylic plaids, acrylic solids and acrylic stripes. There is a 1-year warranty on acrylic prints and polyester prints. There is no warranty on cottons.

This product requires a 50% deposit at the time of order. The balance will be debited from your credit card when the order is shipped.
Warranty
A 2-year Limited Residential Warranty on all defects in workmanship or materials is offered on all Whitecraft products. Fabrics are not warranted by Whitecraft. The warranty remains in force for three years from the date of shipment. Any instance of abnormal or abusive use of the furniture will not be covered by this warranty. Whitecraft will repair, at their option, replace any part of the product or the entire product if it is defective in material or workmanship.
