Based on a history of seafaring and respect for the sea, Skagerak (formerly Trip Trap) outdoor furniture embodies Denmark's carpentry traditions and values. The Selandia collection was designed with inspiration from the old naval architecture with a view to maximizing practicality, with a large 50" teak table and folding arm chairs.

The simple, beautiful lines of Skagen furniture and the consequent choice of material clearly indicate the association with the picturesque fishing village of Skagen, which possesses a unique charm resulting from a fusion of nature-given and man-made romanticism. The teak furniture is robust, tasteful and above all considerably inspired by that seen in the gardens of Skagen, where Skagerak is based.

The combination of sleak design and ultimate flexibility has made Riviera a classic. The deckchair teak lounger can either be used for what it was designed for: relaxation in the sun, or, when folded, it can serve as a bench or a small table.

As an alternative to teak, Skagerak also offers the Drachmann collection in white-painted nyatoh wood. Each piece is fully primed and sealed, and then sanded and painted until there are 8 layers. Finally it is sanded once more to bring you an extremely smooth service.

The Jutlandia deckchair picks up the thread from the old proud cruise liners, where passengers enjoyed the sun, the air and the view in comfortable deckchairs. The old elegant classic is available painted white and in untreated teak. This is the exact design of the steamers used on the famous Titanic, its curves distinguishing it from the more commonly found steamer chair.
